The gammut of α digital cameras with interchangeable objectives from Sony is completed by two new compact models, with very reduced answering time: α55 şi α33
Sony reveals the new digital cameras that use translucid glass technology, an innovating optical system that opens new artistical palets. This new fixed translucid glass is located between the main sensor and the for autofocus.
The previsualisation of High resolution images can be realised in the same time with the scene detecting either through the LCD adjustable screen of 7,5 cm or through the electronic Tru-Finder view finder.
This new technology with translucid glass overtakes the traditional limitations of the SLR digital cameras due to its simplified mechanical construction, that helps at the reducing of the cameras’ dimmensions.
It offers high resolution and shooting speed up to 10 frames per second in AF mode, focusing with high precision the moving objects in the moment when are realised consecutive frames.
The translucid glass technology allows the making of video frames in AVCHD 1080i format.
The α55 and α33 cameras are compatible with the whole objective gammut with A mount, that comprises over 30 models and offers the SteadyShot INSIDE imagine stabilaser incorporated.
Both cameras have the 3D Sweep Panorama function and the APS HD CMOS Exmor sensor.
The new α55 and α33 cameras from Sony, with translucid glass technology, will be available starting with September 2010.
