THE FIRST 3D BLU-RAY PLAYER FROM TOSHIBA

Toshiba launched its first 3D Blu-ray player that offers 1080p content towards the TV through an HDMI interface.

BDX3100KB reads a variety of formats among which MKV, DivX, HD-JPEG, AVCHD or MP3 that are either stocked on a Blu-ray disk or that are read from a memory stick.

Besides the BDX3100KB model there was launched another version with similar facilities but excepting the possibility of 3D content rendering.

Both models will be available on the European market starting with October 2010.

ECOLOGICAL MONITOR

The new Philips LED 225PL2 monitor reduces significantly the energy consume through its ingenious function that notices the presence of its user in front of the display. An automatic sensor reduces the light intensity without a minimum effort from our part.

The 225PL2 model has a 1680×1050pixels resolution, 20.000.000:1 contrast, 5ms answering time, 250cd/m2 luminosity and incorporates two stereo speakers of 1.5W.

LED illuminating is much more efficient and the black colour much closer to the real one.

Philips sells the new monitor at an estimated price of 219 Euro

PANASONIC ANNOUNCES FASTER SD CARDS

Panasonic presented to the public that visited the company’s stand the new variantes of SDHc cards that fulfil the specifications of the UHS-I standard. The models have transfer speeds up to 60MB/s being in this way situated in the 10 class. The new cards will be available on the market starting with november.

ASUS U53J

Asus launched its’ new notebook U53J. This new model distinguishes itself through an elegant design given by its chromed metalical frame and the bamboo wood that covers the chase.

Even at our first glance we can realise that besides the exterior aspect that caught the eye we deal with a notebook that has incorporated the newest technologies.

Its display has a diagonal of 15.6 inches, 16:9 format, a 1366×768 pixels resolution and is LED illuminated.

It has an Intel Core i7-620M processor, 2,66 GHz, 4 MB Smart Cache, 3.33GHz Turbo Mode and a chipset from Intel HM55 Express. The integrated graphic is Intel GMA HD plus the NVIDIA Optimus technology and the dedicated Nvidia GeForce 310M, 1 GB DDR3 VRAM graphic.

It has a RAM memory of 4 GB DDR3, 1066 Mhz. Uses LAN network 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. The webcam is of 2 megapixels.

U53J’s dimmensions are of 386 x 257 x 31-33 mm and it weighs 2.86 kg.

The U53J system is assembled in a vigorous chase and its bamboo and alluminium covered surfaces increase the sensation of confort that the user has while using it.

ASUS U53J has, among its performant components, a series of key aspects: the software suite offered by ASUS eases the configuration of the diversed functions through an intuitive graphical interface. The Express Gate function facilitates the access to the main applications.

The LCD display is covered by a filter that accentuates the fade colours and temperates the agressivity of the blatant shades.

The LED illuminating has an important role in generating images with high contrast but also is important in rendering a real black colour.

SONY LAUNCHES THE FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA BASED ON TRANSLUCID GLASS TECHNOLOGY

The gammut of α digital cameras with interchangeable objectives from Sony is completed by two new compact models, with very reduced answering time: α55 şi α33

Sony reveals the new digital cameras that use translucid glass technology, an innovating optical system that opens new artistical palets. This new fixed translucid glass is located between the main sensor and the for autofocus.
The previsualisation of High resolution images can be realised in the same time with the scene detecting either through the LCD adjustable screen of 7,5 cm or through the electronic Tru-Finder view finder.
This new technology with translucid glass overtakes the traditional limitations of the SLR digital cameras due to its simplified mechanical construction, that helps at the reducing of the cameras’ dimmensions.
It offers high resolution and shooting speed up to 10 frames per second in AF mode, focusing with high precision the moving objects in the moment when are realised consecutive frames.

The translucid glass technology allows the making of video frames in AVCHD 1080i format.
The α55 and α33 cameras are compatible with the whole objective gammut with A mount, that comprises over 30 models and offers the SteadyShot INSIDE imagine stabilaser incorporated.
Both cameras have the 3D Sweep Panorama function and the APS HD CMOS Exmor sensor.
The new α55 and α33 cameras from Sony, with translucid glass technology, will be available starting with September 2010.

FLASHES OF 8 GB IN ONE CHIP

Toshiba started the serial production for the Flash NAND chips made up with the help of photo lithograhic technology on 24 nanometers.

The company used a technique that allows the stocking of 2 bites in one cell, the new chip having this way a capacity of 8 GB.

Its main competitor, Samsung, works as well to the miniaturization of flash technology, having production processes on 30 nanometers.

The new chips will be a part in the assembling of mobile phones, multimedia payers and video cameras.

TOSHIBA TABLET

The wave of lauched tablets extends very fast with new products.

For example, Toshiba launched Folio 100 has Tegra 250 NVIDIA platform that makes sensed in processing the FullHD content.

The other characteristics include: 16 GB internal memory, 1.3 megapixels web cam, SD slot, 3G connection, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The company has also prepared for its customers a virtual store named Toshiba Marketplace, dedicated to the Android Tablet equipments, that will run the Android 2.2 operating system.

DELL STREAK WAS LAUNCHED

Dell enters the Mobile Internet Devices market with the Dell Streak tablet a device designed for those who wish to extend their access to the digital life and that have as a purpose to combine the social interraction with the entertainment.

LUMIREAD ACER ON THE GERMAN MARKET STARTING FROM OCTOBER

A spokes person from the Acer company confirmed the fact that the LumiRead e-book reader will appear on the IT market from Germany starting with October at an estimated price of 250Euro

LumiRead integrates a dispay with its diagonal of 6 inches and the resolution of 800×600 pixels, WiFi and 3G for Internet connection

BENQ LAUNCHES E1260 CAMERA
